- Hygiene. It's important to keep the danger zone clean. Wash your face with warm water and mild soap or face wash. Make sure that your water's clean too or you'll infect your zit or cause other outbreaks. And don't use scrubs just yet when your zit's still in fresh bloom. The reason is that you can't let your zit bleed yet. If it pops then expect a huge (I mean HUGE) cut, and later, scar, which means more problems!
- Drying. What happens when you have a zit is that your pore expands - and explodes into a white dot of a mess. So the most probable key is to shrink back that pore. The only way to do this is to keep your acne area as dry as possible reducing the swelling. I suggest that you make a zit drying paste made of crushed aspirin with some drops of visine. Trust me, this works. Your zit will constrict every minute.
